The Annual Gateway Division NMRA Model Train Meet and Model & Photo Contest will be held November 11, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with home layout tours in the evening.

This year, we are at a new location: VFW Post 5691, 1234 Vandalia, Collinsville, IL 62234.

The NMRA's Northeastern Region is hosting NERx, its annual virtual convention, this spring. The convention will take place on March 18-21 from 6:30-10:30 PM eastern time and is open to everyone to attend online, for free.

The Bi-Annual Herington Railroad Days will take place Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 9 a.m., and Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m..  The location is the Herington Community Building at 810 S. Broadway, Herington, KS 67449.  This event will include a model train and railroadiana swap meet, clinics/workshops, model railroad layouts from area clubs, concessions, and free and easy parking.
