The Art of Soldering by David Carlton

Soldering is a basic and necessary skill for model railroaders, but one that can be intimidating the first few times.  This clinic provides an introduction to soldering and includes several video clips to demonstrate the proper techniques.  It also describes the various tools used in the soldering process and makes general recommendations for obtaining them.  For presentation purposes, the videos can be accessed by exiting PowerPoint presentation mode and accessing the videos or a hyperlink can be inserted into the video pointing to the appropriate video.  The author has taught soldering skills to military personnel and suppliers.
