Applying for a DCC Manufacturer Number
DCC decoders carry manufacturer ID numbers which have been assigned by the NMRA. This number allows the user to determine the manufacturer of a decoder within opening the locomotive in which it is installed.
Manufacturer IDs are only permanently assigned when a product is shipping to customers. The NMRA can assign temporary ones earlier than that so they can be included during product development, but the NMRA reserves the right to withdraw them if commercial product has never been shipped.
To get an ID, please provide the following information via email to tech-dcc@hq.nmra.org Public information, for posting on the NMRA DCC web site:

- Address (including country):
- Phone number:
- Email contact:
- Web site (with language if not English):
- Additional web sites for alternate languages:
