The Administration Department staff:
The NMRA Headquarters building is located at 4121 Cromwell Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421-2119. The building is open to members and the public, Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
The NMRA Headquarters is closed on weekends and Major Holidays (except the Mondays in observance of President's Day and Martin Luther King Day.) The NMRA Holiday schedule is defined as: Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, and the Fourth of July. If the Holiday falls on a weekend and you are planning a visit to the Chattanooga area, call the Administration Department at (423) 892-2846 to confirm which business day(s) that the holiday will be observed.
In the photo above, the Administration Department and the office of the NMRA Office Staff is located to the right of the front doors, and Kathy McGill Memorial Gift Shop is located in the bay window area. The NMRA A. C. Kalmbach Memorial Library occupies the space to the left of the front doors on the 1st and second floors (the 2nd floor of the building is at ground level from the front of the building and as pictured in the photo).

Please direct any research questions about the hobby of model railroading, prototype railroads or drawings, railroad history or modeling specific research to the NMRA A.C. Kalmbach Memorial Library.
The Administration Department staff members are not experienced modelers. If you would like advice from one of our many experienced member modelers you may choose one of the following options:
