Brent Lambert - Library Manager

Brent Lambert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Master of Public Administration degree from Valdosta State University. His primary field of historical interest is nineteenth-century America, which, of course, includes the development of the railroad industry.

Brent joined the library staff in September of 1998 as Research Associate and became the Library Manager in March of 2003. As Manager, he authors the monthly "Library Car" column and "Timeframes" for Scale Rails, manages the library’s publishing efforts, prepares grant applications for special project funding, and oversees the library’s daily operations. He has co-authored or co-edited 13 NMRA publications, including various clinic books, historic reprints, and original works.
