  • Ocean Beach Railway: The Ocean Beach Railway has a diverse collection of Locomotives (Steam and Diesel), carriages, wagons and other artifacts. The Railway offers steam train rides on Sunday afternoons in the Summer / Fall months. The society's oldest locomotive was built in 1873 and is currently operated regularly, as are carriages dating from 1886.   • Lynton & Barnstaple Railway: Parracombe, Devon. Located in the South West of England, The Lynton and Barnstaple Railway was opened in 1898 and closed in 1935. Built to a track gauge of 1ft 11½in, it ran for a distance of 19½ miles linking the two North Devon towns from which it takes its name. The present Lynton & Barnstaple Railway Company was formed in 1993 by the members of the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway Association, now a Trust, with the aim of reconstructing as much as possible of this once famous narrow gauge railway.
