  • Thunder Mountain Line: Cascade, ID. The history of the Thunder Mountain Line dates back to more than a century ago. The Union Pacific operated this branch line as part of their Oregon Short Line Division until the Idaho Northern and Pacific Railroad purchased the railroad in 1993. (6-16-05)

  • Children's Museum Of Indianapolis: Indianapolis, IN. The world's largest children's museum with a history that dates back to 1925. The museum offers non-traditional learning opportunities for children and their families. Features the All Aboard model railroad exhibit. (9/15/99)

  • Indiana Transportation Museum: Noblesville, IN.   • Biddeford Station: A non profit, Narrow Gauge hand built railroad that is based on the Great Northern RR. Located on Rt.1 In Maine it offers rides on its Plymouth diesel plus so much more like a future restauraunt in a genuine GN Ranch Car.   • Seashore Trolley Museum: Kennebunkport, ME. The oldest and largest electric railway museum in the world. (7/6/97)

  • Wiscasset, Waterville, And Farmington Railway Museum: Alna, ME. The WW&F was a two-foot gauge railroad that operated in the early 1900s until the railroad was abandoned in 1933. The Museum is located at the site of the old Sheepscot station. (8/26/97)

Maryland:

  • B&O Railroad Museum: Baltimore, MD. This Birthplace of American Railroading houses one of the finest collections of 19th and 20th century rolling stock, unique artifacts and railroadiana in North America. (7/21/97)

  • Vicksburg Michigan Depot Museum: Vicksburg, MI. Historic and contemporary images with accompanying narrative about the Vicksburg Depot now operated as a museum by the Vicksburg Historical Society. The site is the 1904 passenger and freight station erected at the junction of the Grand Rapids and Indiana (north/south) RR and the Grand Trunk and Western (east/west) RR. The depot museum houses railroad equipment, memorabilia and exhibits. The grounds feature three railroad cars and related structures. (11-23-01)
