• Nickel Plate Road Historical & Technical Society: One of the oldest railroad historical organizations in the country. Since 1966 it has been dedicated to preserving and disseminating information concerning the Nickel Plate Road (New York, Chicago, and St. Louis RR Co.) and its predecessor railroads, the Lake Erie & Western RR (LE&W), the Clover Leaf (Toledo, St. Louis & Western RR), and the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway (W&LE).  (5/6/97)
