Welcoming Reception -  Sunday, July 13th

You are invited to attend a welcoming reception on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Marriott Hotel. It will be a chance to meet your friends and find out about some of the highlights of the convention and catch up on late breaking announcements.

 

NMRA Evening at Disney – Tuesday, July 15th, 5 pm

All Aboard the Disney Train for a visit to the Magic Kingdom.  First stop is Frontier Land’s Festival Arena for a special Chuck-wagon Buffet.  Enjoy a visit and have your photo taken with a Disney Character.  After your meal explore the park and view the Spectacular Fireworks Display on your own.  Extra Fare: $75.00.  Convention registration is NOT required for this event.

 

Wine Tasting – Wednesday, July 16th, 4 pm.

Come join the manager of Marriott’s JW’s restaurant for a special treat, a sampling of California wines. There is an Extra Fare: $25.00.  Registration is required.

 

Kitchen Tour & Cooking Class – Thursday, July 17th –  Afternoon. The Anaheim Marriott’s Executive Chef and his staff will host for us a behind the scenes view of their kitchens.  This will be followed by a special “how to” cooking class featuring California flavors.  Extra Fare: Tour and Class $ 50.00.  Tour only $ 5.00. Registration required.

 

Chocolate Tasting – Friday, July 18th at 1 pm.

Know the difference between Dark Chocolate and Mexican Chocolate?  Come find this and other answers as Anaheim Marriott’s Chocolatier shares secrets about this tasty treat.  Extra Fare: $20.00.  Registration required.

 

NMRA Banquet – Friday, July 18th

Anaheim Marriott’s beautiful new Platinum Ballroom will be the site of the NMRA Awards presentation and sliced sirloin dinner. Please note that the Banquet will be on Friday this year, not Saturday, as it has in the past.  Extra Fare: $ 77.00. Convention registration is NOT required for this event.
